The start line
This is where we begin: two pairs of boots, a Norfolk Coast target, and Nan at the centre of every step. The first few weeks are about building a routine we can keep.

Trek26 Norfolk Coast - 13 miles
My mum and I are walking the Norfolk Coast Trek26 for my nan, who is living with Alzheimer's. Having both worked with people affected by dementia, we've seen the huge impact that the right care and support can make. We're raising money for Alzheimer's Society to help them continue supporting people like my nan, while sharing our training walks, weather, wobbles, and wins along the way.

Training updates
Follow our training journey as we build up to the Norfolk Coast Trek26, sharing the walks, lessons, challenges, and little wins that happen along the way.
Our reason
This walk is personal. We are doing it together as mother and son, inspired by Nan and by everything she means to us. Through the training and on the day itself, we are turning our love for her, our memories, and the challenges of this difficult illness into something active and hopeful.
Alzheimer's Society supports people affected by dementia today and funds work towards a future where dementia no longer devastates lives. Every donation helps make those miles matter beyond the two of us.
